Oleg Bogomolov was born May 6, 1962 in Sverdlovsk, Russia. He was educated at the Art School of Sverdlovsk, and later at the Repin Academy of Fine Arts in St. Petersburg. He began working as a freelance artist in St. Petersburg and in London in 1991.
