Evgeni G. Brezhnev was born on May 29, 1941, in Voronezh. From 1960 to 1965 he studied at the Ryazan Art School. In 1966 he entered the Institute of Theater, Music, and Cinematography in Leningrad, from which he graduated in 1971. Brezhnev was the chief artist of the theaters in such cities as Voronezh, Arkangelsk, & Vladikavkaz.
