Aleksei Pavlovich Eremenko was born on February 14, 1922, in the village of Chernyakhi in the Voronezh Region. He became a member of the Communist party in 1946. He graduated from Penza Art College in 1948. His graduation work was “Grain to the State”. He began exhibiting his works in 1950. Important shows include: “Soviet Russia”; Moscow, 1960. One-man show in Voronezh, 1972. He worked as a teacher of drawing at Voronezh secondary schools from 1948 until 1953. Eremenko died in 1997.
