Pyotr Ilich Maiorov was born in 1914. From 1948 to 1954 he studied at the Art Institute in Kharkov, Ukraine. He then went to Voronezh and worked at the Voronezh Artists’ Union. He became a member of the Artists’ Union of Russia, and he participated in zonal, republican, and All-Union exhibitions. Maiorov died in 1993. He had no family.
