Vera Alexandrovna Vladislavleva was born October 12, 1919 in the village of Borskoe in the Chkalovsk region of Russia. She graduated from the Kiev Art Institute in 1951. Her teachers there were V. Kostetsky and I Shtilman. She became a member of the Artists’ Union of the Ukraine in 1972. She participated in numerous regional, Ukrainian, All-Union, and international exhibitions. Her paintings can be found in many museums of the Ukraine and in private collections worldwide.
